Elizabeth Craft Designs! 2 Classes with Els!









Class 1 - Fun with the NEW Elizabeth Craft Designs Dies with Els!
Saturday, March 16th from 10:00 - 12:30
Fee: $37.50/25 students 






In this class we will work with the Elizabeth Craft Designs Dies. We will use a variety of dies, the Flowers, Dragonflies, Bees, Ladybugs, Birds and the Words.   We will use all kind of different materials like the new Velvet Adhesive sheets, the Shimmer Sheetz, the new Silk Microfine Glitter and the Double Sided Adhesive.   This will be a very colorful and fun class that you don't want to miss.
















Class 2. Polished Silk Glitter with Els from Elizabeth Craft Designs.
Saturday, March 16th from 2:00 - 4:30
Fee: $37.50/25 students  




In this class it will be all about the NEW Elizabeth Craft Designs Microfine Glitter.  We will use different techniques to make some beautiful cards. Two of the cards will be Polished Silk Glitter techniques and one card will be a card using the Diamond glitter in combination with the Copic Markers and the Orchid Peel Off sticker. You will be a glitter Queen at the end if this class!

Please bring your favorite paper crafting tools, adhesives both wet and dry, foam tape.

You will learn the basic skills of papering a box to look artistic and professional. Decorating in the shabby chic/vintage/steam punk style that Graphic 45 paper lends itself to.

This class will increase your creativity while learning new techniques. You can follow step by step instructions or use new techniques to create your one of a kind creation. This class will include all materials: a bottle to make your own glimmer mist, the box, Graphic 45 paper, materials to make your own flowers and embellishments.

This is not your traditional class. We will be doing lots of cutting and we will get messy (dress in grubby clothes).

Please bring a positive attitude so you can make new friends and have fun in the class.

Techniques:
Layering paper
Discussion of Gesso and acrylics
Discussion appropriate adhesive
Using chipboard
Dye Ink vs. water base ink
Create 2 different types of flowers
Different uses for polyurethane glaze (Diamond Glaze, Glossy Accents, 3D Crystal Lacquer )

Hero Arts Catalog Debut Party




Every December Hero Arts releases its new catalog with lots of new stamps.  We will have our Debut celebration on Dec 15th from 11-4.  festivities include:

Sign up is not necessary, but if you call and give us your name we will reserve supplies for you.  All make and takes will be while supplies last.

Do you own a Copic marker or two? Have you been interested in learning more about these markers or wanted to get to use them with more ease?  Do you have questions about blending and layering with more than one Copic marker?  Do you already color with them but have been wanting to learn more blending and layering techniques?  How about learning about light sources and adding dimension to your images?  You will learn all about these awesome markers from basic product info to good color combinations, to basic skin tone and hair colors... and more!

If you sign up for the card class only,
there will be no time to color the image, just assemble the card.

If you are taking my card class, please bring adhesive, a sharp pair of scissors, coloring products that you are most comfortable using (ie. Copic markers or coloring pencils), and scoring tool (ie. Scor-Pal or MS). Cardstock and designer paper and embellishments will be provided.

Please bring Copic markers that you own.  Be sure to mark them to identify your own. If you do not own any or many Copic markers there will be some for you to borrow during class.  Do bring a color chart of all the colors that you own if you want to expand your collection and do not want to duplicate or if you need advice on what colors to get next.  I will be adding a list of recommended colors for each class so be sure to check my blog for updates on classes before you come to my class. We will use several “unexpected and mysterious” products … revealed in class.  Each card uses a very distinctive technique!  We will be coloring with your Prismacolors using a “twist” in the blending technique and you will learn a new and fun technique called “vintage patina”.  You will go home with two cheerful cards and two gift tags ready to give away this holiday season featuring Memory Box stamps, dies and papers.
