Join us for the La-La Land Crafts TRUNK SHOW with Irina Blount!

Shop for the newest Christmas and Halloween stamps and dies while making one or both of these gorgeous cards.  As always, Irina's cards feature many different techniques - paper piecing, layering, a pocket with a tag, a window - just to name a few.  

Stop by to shop on Saturday, September 10th any time between 10 am and 5 pm.  

Make-and-Take projects are $6 each or $10 for both

This darling Easel Card Gift Box measures 5" x 5" and the drawer measures 4 3/4" x 4 3/4".  The drawer can be used for tea bags, chocolates, or a special gift.  Inside the easel card is a gift card envelope for a special message or a gift card.

Please bring strong adhesives, liquid glue (I use Beacon Fabri-Tac), pop dots, scissors, quilling tool if you have one, Wink of Stella (Clear) and your favorite paper crafting tools.

Watercolor Crystal Cards - Jeanne

Have you ever tried using watercolor crystals? 

Come to class this month and experiment with a variety of watercolor techniques using Brusho Crystal Colours, an amazingly versatile watercolor ink crystal that can be used in a myriad of different ways.  

We will create a different watercolor background for each of four cards by using watercolor crystals with spray starch, plastic wrap, bleach, and white crayons.

It can be a messy process, so please wear 
old clothes to class or bring an apron.

Bring your favorite crafting tools which should include scissors, wet and dry adhesives, foam tape, and pop dots. 
All other supplies will be provided.

Christmas in July - Deb

It is never too early in the year to get a few Christmas cards and gift wrappers ready for your holiday stash.  We’ll use some non-traditional fresh color pallets for a modern take on the Holiday: 3 cards, a treat box and a gift card holder.  The Bunny on the sled is a slider – too much fun!

This class will help you combine 2 activities: connect your creative side to your faith, incorporate scripture with corresponding Art into your daily writing journals or Bibles.

On the 1st Introductory Workshop;

Hear how Bibiana documents her faith; She will share her experience, show you how to start journaling on your bible. She will show you many examples of styles, mediums, favorite tools and techniques.

Highlighted products : journaling bibles; journals; journaling pens; colored pencils; markers; highlighters, inks, watercolors, acrylic paints; pastels; stamps; steel dies etc…
You will learn and complete:

Various tips on Art Journaling; learn 8 different coloring, shading & blending techniques with colored pencils;

You will make a handmade Art Journal Cover; go home with various free scripture printables to work on and to be finished at home.

A series of workshops will follow. Each workshop will give you both content (a verse centered around grace and some thoughts on that verse) and an art journaling technique to try. The workshops will help you to get organized, inspired, implementing all sorts of new or old techniques discovering as well new supplies. It’s all about connecting your spiritual life with your creativity.
